Evergreens Win at Northern Virginia, 8-1

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Portland Evergreens got a strong performance from pitcher Gerald Keller, who stymied the Northern Virginia offense en route to a 8-1 win at Atlantica. The winning pitcher was Keller, now 7-5. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 8.
The Evergreens picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Keller said.
Portland has now won 4 straight.
