Divided Lose to Grey Wolves, 6-1

Vancouver starter Ray Skipworth put a stranglehold on the D.C. offense. The right-hander had complete command of his forkball in leading the Grey Wolves to a 6-1 win. Skipworth picked up the win for Vancouver, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-9. The Grey Wolves now have a record of 38-36 with the win over D.C..
In the bottom of the third, Hugh Mungus hit a 2-run home run for Vancouver. The 20th home run of the season for the Vancouver third baseman put the Grey Wolves on top, 2-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Vancouver manager David Krause.
