Behind a solid performance from left fielder Lynwood Dimartínez, the Billings Polar Bears defeated the Asheville Highlanders, 5-2. Dimartínez went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Polar Bears. Billings reliever Salvador López picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Derek Patton was saddled with the loss. Roberto Roque picked up the save, his 2nd.

With a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the fourth inning, first baseman José Ortíz delivered big for the Polar Bears. Billings was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
