The San Antonio BC topped the Asheville Highlanders, 7-3, in M3L Double A action at San Antonio Field. The player of the game was San Antonio pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native José Lucero. Lucero, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. Earning his 2nd save for San Antonio was Salvador Villegas.
Silverberry Mouhon took Jacob Petithomme deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the BC on top, 2-0. In all, Mouhon had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
