Mateo Sensational for Sixshooters

The Westwood Sixshooters topped the Richland Rails, 3-0, in M3L Double A action at Sixshooters Stadium. The player of the game was Westwood pitcher Claudio Mateo. Christian Clayton picked up the save, his 15th. Westwood occupies second place in the Menard's AA at 20-11.
The Rails had trouble solving Mateo, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings.
Mateo said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
