Ft. Polk South center fielder Thomas Feliciano was instrumental in his team's 6-2 win over the Richland Rails. Feliciano, who is rated as the 44th best prospect by BNN, went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Thunder Hawks. Delano Turnipseed earned the save for Ft. Polk South, his 1st of the year. The Thunder Hawks now have a record of 18-12 with the win over Richland.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Feliciano, who is rated as the 44th best prospect by BNN, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Thunder Hawks into the lead, 3-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Feliciano told the Ft. Polk South Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
