Sixshooters Cut Down Nationals, 5-2
|
The Westwood Sixshooters defeated the Ottawa Nationals, 5-2, in M3L Double A action at Nationals Park, with Westwood pitcher Claudio Mateo named player of the game. The Sixshooters now have a record of 16-10 with the win over Ottawa.
Sinhyeon, South Korea-born Jin-yong Ch'oe came through in the clutch. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd and the Sixshooters trailing 2-0, he hit a 3-run home run to left to put Westwood on top.
"It feels good to get this one," Ch'oe told the Westwood Gazette.
