Yu Miao put on a hitting clinic today as the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks dumped the San Antonio BC 14-4 at San Antonio Field.

The Ft. Polk South center fielder made San Antonio defenders earn their pay, lashing San Antonio pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Miao said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Yu Miao doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Shadi Zafar in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
