The Knights got a big at-bat from left fielder Ron Bernard. For the game, Bernard went 1 for 3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 82nd hit of the season gave Kingston Township a 1-0 lead.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Castro told a Kingston Township Times reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
