The Quebec City Les Bleus did just enough to sneak past the Kingston Township Knights, 3-2, at Quebec City Coliseum. Quebec City pitcher Stanley Eldrige earned player of the game honors. Érico Laborde picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Rikkarti Gudmundur was tagged with the loss. Matt Digby notched his 10th save in 14 chances.

Stan Pagnotta aided the Quebec City cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Eldrige.

The Les Bleus improved to 27-49.
