The D.C. Divided got a superb performance from left fielder Yao-pang Chiang, but the Toledo Stingers still won the game, 6-4. Chiang was named the player of the game despite the loss. He belted 2 home runs. Toledo is now 24-41, while D.C. is 27-38.

Toledo third baseman Tamasaburo Kato helped the Stingers go up, 5-4, in the top of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Kato hit a run-scoring double off D.C. pitcher John Hottinger.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Kato.
