Yamaguchi Sensational for Piranhas
|
The Panama City Piranhas got a magnificent effort from pitcher Hikaru Yamaguchi, who kept Echo Park hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Piranhas win at LA Forum. Panama City is now 27-35, Echo Park 32-30.
The Lakers had trouble solving Yamaguchi, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.
Yamaguchi told the Panama City Observer: "I was born for the big stage."
