Piranhas Lose to Knights, 8-6

The Panama City Piranhas and Kingston Township Knights brought some excitement to The Tank.
Behind a solid performance from first baseman EP Weston, the Kingston Township Knights defeated the Panama City Piranhas, 8-6. Weston was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Knights. John Riggleman closed it out for his 18th save.
Ron Bernard, who is tied for 10th in the 3L with a .500 slugging percentage, helped out the Kingston Township cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray.
Kingston Township occupies 7th place in the Third League at 28-30.
