Cattlemen Fall to Pandas, 3-1
|
The Montana Pandas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jesús Franco, who muffled the Ft. Worth offense en route to a tight 3-1 Pandas win at Panda Park. Ieyoshi Asai earned his 4th save in 7 tries. Montana is now 19-20, Ft. Worth 18-21.
Pau Arria came through for Montana with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. The third baseman went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Arria.
