Hsi-men King put on a hitting clinic today as the Vermont Lake Monsters dumped the Alloway Halberds 13-1 at Ballpark of Alloway.

The Vermont third baseman made Alloway defenders earn their pay, lashing Alloway pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," King said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Hsi-men King hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pedro Adame in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Ryan Dull in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
