Halberds Lose Again, 8-2, to Hotspur Reserves
The Alloway Halberds extended their losing streak with a loss to the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves.

The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves relied on the hitting of left fielder Jason DeGeorge to stop the Alloway Halberds, 8-2. For the game, DeGeorge was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Alloway now has a 15-game losing streak.

DeGeorge had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch cutter from Ramón Molina, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Hotspur Reserves a 3-0 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for DeGeorge.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said DeGeorge.
