Javier Vega did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Plymouth Rocks from losing, 6-5, to the Royse City Targaryens at Plymouth Quarry. Vega was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Tony Torres, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. Had IV Seacat not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Seacat hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Targaryens.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Seacat told the Royse City Daily News.
