Flyers Lose Again, 6-2, to Reserves
|
Athletic Club KC Reserves starter Dave Parkinson was in fine form against the Pennsauken Flyers at KC Reserve Stadium, leading his team to a 6-2 win. The win was credited to Sung-hwan Ho in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Mike Foltynewicz took the loss. The Flyers, at 27-49, have lost 8 straight games.
The Reserves got a big at-bat from third baseman Kwang-chih Feng. For the game, Feng was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 67th hit of the season gave Athletic Club KC a 4-2 lead.
"We had a nice day," said Athletic Club KC skipper Henry Russell.
