It was a fun time at KC Reserve Stadium, where the Alloway Halberds and Athletic Club KC Reserves tangled.
Athletic Club KC designated hitter Tsai Ng was instrumental in his team's 6-2 win over the Alloway Halberds. Ng, who is rated as the 31st best prospect by BNN, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Reserves. Leroy Moody notched his 2nd save in 4 chances.
The game hung in the balance with one out in the top of the eighth. The score was 3-2, Reserves. But Alloway had runners on 1st and 2nd. The Reserves needed an out. Carlos De Jesús stepped into the box with a chance to deliver. Instead, he hit into a double play.
