Despite a great performance by Tremont third baseman Armaan Ebrahim, the Pennsauken Flyers defeated the Doubledays by the score of 8-7 at Doubledays Stadium. Ebrahim was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Manny Benavides, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Júlio Enríquez got credit for the save for Pennsauken. It was his 4th of the year.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Juan Gabriel hit a 1-1 cutter from Jaime Gabriel for a 2-run double. It put Pennsauken in front, 8-6.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gabriel.

Pennsauken is now 26-40, Tremont 32-34.
