Targaryens Raise Rally Flag, Beat Athletic Club KC, 3-1

The Royse City Targaryens went home winners at KC Reserve Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Fred Proctor. Proctor silenced the Athletic Club KC Reserves, enabling Royse City to grab the 3-1 win. Royse City is now 39-24. Athletic Club KC is 29-34.
Melvin Thomas, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA in extra base hits with 27, contributed to the Royse City win with a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Proctor said after the game.
