Royse City rode a decent outing from starter Eugenio Piñeiro to victory over the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway. The final score was 5-3. Royse City reliever Manuel Torres picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Bob Browning shouldered the loss. Royse City, at 33-21, occupies 4th place in the Silver AAA.

Santiago Miranda drove in one run for Royse City. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Seb Alport. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Miranda said.
