Vermont pitcher Rodas Aguilar did his part in helping his team beat the Alloway Halberds, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Aguilar went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-2. The Lake Monsters own a robust 34-13 mark.

Ramón Soto made it 3-2, Vermont, in the top of the ninth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Lake Monsters win.
