Belugas Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Reserves
The Brinkley Belugas got a strong performance from pitcher Alejandro Araya, who stymied the Athletic Club KC offense en route to a 7-2 win at KC Reserve Stadium. Brinkley reliever Desiderio Toccafundo was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Ángel Rivera took the loss for Athletic Club KC. Sicnarf Loopstok picked up the save for Brinkley, his 2nd of the year.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Athletic Club KC hurler Leroy Moody, Travis Towns, who was drafted in the two round of the 2031 draft, drew a walk. The Belugas went on to win.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Brinkley manager Ricardo Medina.

The Belugas saw their win-loss record go to 19-19. At the same time, the Reserves fell to 14-24.
