Halberds Sneak Past Targaryens, 2-1

The Royse City Targaryens wasted an impressive 7.2-inning effort from starter Eugenio Piñeiro, falling 2-1 to the Alloway Halberds at Royse City Stadium. Alloway reliever Seb Alport picked up the win, upping his record to 1-4. Enrique García was saddled with the loss. Alloway is now 10-24, Royse City 18-16.
Carlos De Jesús's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Enrique García for a run-scoring double. It put Alloway in front, 2-1.
