It was a good time at Monster Field, where fans came to watch the Alloway Halberds and Vermont Lake Monsters get after it.

The Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Alloway Halberds, 15-1, in USSL Triple A action at Monster Field. The player of the game was Vermont pitcher and Nashville, Tennessee native Ramón Martínez. Vermont is now 19-7, 2 games up in the Silver AAA.

Martínez, who leads the SAAA with a 1 complete games, pitched a complete game for Vermont. Martínez surrendered 5 hits over 9 innings and struck out 10. With the win, he moves to 4-1 on the season.
