Lake Monsters Lose 4-1 Decision to Belugas
|
Brinkley Belugas starter Bob Devlin turned in a top-notch performance against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Monster Field. The result was a win for the Belugas, 4-1. Brinkley occupies 7th place in the Silver AAA at 10-13.
Cisco Feijoo, who is rated as the 31st best prospect by BNN, helped out the Brinkley cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4.
"I thought we played a nice game," Feijoo told the Brinkley Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
