Gunner drives in 4 runs as Targaryens Squeeze Past Pennsauken
With center fielder Jonathan Gunner leading the charge, the Royse City Targaryens defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 6-5, at Royse City Stadium. Gunner, who is tied for 8th in the SAAA in bases on balls with 9, was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Enrique García earned the save, his 3rd, for the Targaryens. The win takes Royse City to 6-6.

The Targaryens got a lift from designated hitter Miguel Herrera who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning off Martin Ortíz. It was his 7th RBI of the season and put Royse City in front, 6-5.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Royse City manager Chris Drew.
