The Brinkley Belugas and Plymouth Rocks provided some drama at Plymouth Quarry.
Plymouth Rocks starter Jeff Greer turned in an exceptional performance against the Brinkley Belugas at Plymouth Quarry, resulting in a Plymouth win, 2-1. Henry Henry earned the save, his 2nd, for the Rocks.
Had Chang-lit Min not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Min hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Rocks.
"Runs were at a premium," said Plymouth manager John Bush.
The win brings the Rocks to 6-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
