A 3-RBI performance from Alfredo Martínez, who is tied for 8th in the PL in runs scored with 34, helped the Toledo Stingers beat the D.C. Divided, 13-8. Asher Spivey finished the game for Toledo and earned his 2nd save. The Stingers now have a record of 21-30 with the win over D.C..

Toledo first baseman Brett Callison contributed to the cause with a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, Callison went 3-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.

Stingers manager Francis Bova wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
