Bruce Ingilby put on a hitting clinic today as the Plymouth Rocks dumped the Alloway Halberds 17-2 at Ballpark of Alloway.

The Plymouth second baseman made Alloway defenders earn their pay, lashing Alloway pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Ingilby said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Bruce Ingilby hit a three-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a three-run triple in the 8th.
