Longnecks Come Up Short at Scranton

Both teams had their chances, but the Scranton Supernovas eventually prevailed at Nuclear Stadium.
A 3-RBI performance from Chase Popoff, who is rated as the 77th best prospect by BNN, helped the Scranton Supernovas beat the Bloomington Longnecks, 4-3. Scranton, now 3-1, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Scranton grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Popoff, who was drafted in the two round of the 2025 draft, hit a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season put the Supernovas out in front, 4-2.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Popoff.
