Late Rally by Farmers Secures Win
A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old first baseman José Medina helped the Lancaster Farmers beat the Bethesda Atoms, 7-3. Lancaster reliever René Fontaine picked up the win, upping his record to 9-8. Eduardo Flores was saddled with the loss. Lancaster, at 50-51, sits in 6th place in the Silver AA.

Medina had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 2-2 sinker from Eduardo Flores, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Farmers a 7-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Medina.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Medina told the Lancaster Daily.
