Late Rally by Farmers Secures Win
|
Lancaster Farmers starter Daron Muldoon was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Lannister United Lionhearts, 3-1. René Fontaine earned the save for Lancaster, his 26th of the year. Lancaster's record now stands at 49-50, placing them 6th in the Silver AA.
Ramón Padilla had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the ninth for the Farmers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Lancaster trailing 1-0, he hit a bases-clearing double.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Muldoon, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
