Lancaster beat Long Island on the strength of starter Peace Addo's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 1-0 win. Addo, now 6-7, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. René Fontaine earned his 25th save in 30 chances.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Mike Sanderson was at the plate when Lancaster scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Farmers to go in front, 1-0.

Sanderson told a Lancaster Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The win puts the Farmers at 46-44, while the Seawolves drop to 30-60.
