Oacia Goes Wild, But Seawolves Win
Despite a fine performance by third baseman Ezequiel Oacia, the Little Caesars Hot N Readys suffered a 7-5 loss to the Long Island Seawolves. Oacia was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ramón Galván earned the win for Long Island. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 5 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 3-7. Juan Serrano sewed up the save, his 5th.

It could have been a different outcome for Long Island, had it not been for Cheong-hun Kang, the 22-year old second baseman . Kang contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put Long Island up, 6-4.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Kang.

Long Island is 29-55 and Little Caesars, with the loss, 42-42.
