|
Long Island pitcher Ben Lieske did his part in helping his team beat the Lannister United Lionhearts, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Even with the win, the Seawolves have a dismal 25-48 record.
Cheong-hun Kang, who is tied for 2nd in the SAA in doubles with 21, aided the Long Island cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Lieske told a Long Island Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
