Big Day by Driscoll Sparks Grasshoppers Win
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers beat the Lannister United Lionhearts, 8-4, at Lionheart Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Wren Driscoll, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. After today's action, San Bernardino sits at 35-25, while Lannister United falls to 37-23.

The Grasshoppers got a big at-bat from center fielder John Clark. For the game, Clark was 1 for 6 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave San Bernardino a 3-1 lead.
