It was a good time at Field of the Grasshoppers, where fans came to watch the Lancaster Farmers and San Bernardino Grasshoppers get after it.
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers eked out a 6-5 win versus the Lancaster Farmers at Field of the Grasshoppers. Nobody did more than first baseman Howard Lee, who captured player of the game honors. The Grasshoppers, at 28-16, lead by one game in their division.
Arthur Coonse's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning was a big one for San Bernardino. Coming to bat with one out, a runner on 2nd and San Bernardino leading 5-3, the shortstop hit a run-scoring single.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Lancaster manager Luis Barroco. "The effort was great."
