Patriots Come Up Short at Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Flamingos picked up a win at The Strip, knocking off the Boston Patriots, 3-2. Starting pitcher Luis Peña, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win puts the Flamingos at 22-20, while the Patriots drop to 26-16.

Had Ellis Greenham not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Greenham hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Flamingos.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Greenham.
