Seawolves Turn Back Little Caesars, 4-2
The Long Island Seawolves topped the Little Caesars Hot N Readys, 4-2, in USSL Double A action at The Pizza Oven. The player of the game was Long Island pitcher and Ridgewood, New Jersey native David Perkins. Perkins, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. The win brings the Seawolves to 7-10, a soft start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
