García Sensational for Rainbow Mermaids
|
The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids got a strong performance from pitcher Ricardo García, who stymied the Philadelphia 1776 offense en route to a 5-1 win at Atlantica. The Rainbow Mermaids saw their record improve to 19-21.
The BC had trouble solving García, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," García said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
