Victory Pushes Eclipse Record to 6-4
|
Maxx Bleecher pitched a gem to lead Northville to a 4-1 victory over the Lancaster Farmers. Northville, now 6-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.
The Eclipse got a big at-bat from third baseman Rod Shortall. For the game, Shortall was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Northville a 2-1 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Shortall said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
