A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter Michael Brannon, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA in RBI with 64, led the Port Royal Disaster to a 6-2 win over the Tortolita Drummers. Port Royal occupies 6th place in the Menard's AAA at 49-51.

Brannon had a key at-bat for Port Royal early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and gave Port Royal an early 2-0 lead.

"It was our day today," Brannon told the Port Royal Daily News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
