Fog Continue Skid Thanks to Dante, Red Pandas
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas dealt the Sunset District Fog a 8-4 loss at The Bamboo Forest. Count Dante was the star on offense. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Sioux Falls reliever Víctor García picked up the win, upping his record to 10-7. Steve Henryson was saddled with the loss. The Fog, now 55-34, have lost 4 in a row.
One of the key players for the Red Pandas was first baseman Wilfred McLaughlin, who drilled a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, McLaughlin was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Matt Helsley said.
