Timber Hawks Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Salt Lake City
|
The Augusta Timber Hawks topped the Salt Lake City Buzz by the score of 7-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman José Pérez. Pérez went 2 for 3 with a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Timber Hawks on the day. Emil Olsson, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 10 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 4-4. Gus Osborne earned his 18th save in 20 chances.
