Victory Over Red Pandas Takes Augusta to 53-20
Augusta shortstop Krystof Melichar was instrumental in his team's 7-5 win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Melichar, who leads the 3AAA in triples with 10, went 3-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Timber Hawks. Gus Osborne sewed up the save, his 15th. The Timber Hawks improved to a lofty 53-20.

Melichar had a key at-bat for Augusta early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 10th triple of the season and gave Augusta an early 1-0 lead.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Augusta manager Justin Trewhells.
