Darrah Rips Hialeah for 5 Hits
|
Disaster left fielder Anson Darrah had his way with Hialeah pitching today at Dodos Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Dodos ruined his great day by toppling the Disaster, 8-7.
"I had a great day, but you've got to give Hialeah credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."
"Oh, we noticed what Darrah did today," Dodos skipper Kyle Besley said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."
Anson Darrah hit a three-run home run off Woo-suk Cho in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 12th.
Darrah is hitting .257 so far this season with 34 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 63 hits including 5 home runs, 25 walks and .327 OBP.
