The Port Royal Disaster downed the Salt Lake City Buzz, 9-2, at Spirits Stadium. The Disaster were led by Guillermo Arellano, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The save was credited to Chet Saks, his 2nd. The Buzz, now 33-28, have lost 5 in a row.

Arellano contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Port Royal get the win.
