|
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Terrence Eler, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Houston BC, 9-2. Eler went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Red Pandas. Sioux Falls reliever Mick Alston picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Nolan Howard was collared with the loss. Sioux Falls, at 27-28, occupies 7th place in the Menard's AAA.
Eler had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the third, when he hit a solo home run. The Red Pandas went on to win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Eler said after the game.
